MS. ANDREA CODRINGTON LIPPKE
Andrea Codrington Lippke is an editor and writer specializing in design and visual culture. She has been a columnist for the New York Times, an editor at Phaidon Press, senior editor at I.D. Magazine and the author of the books Kyle Cooper: Monographics and Greta Magnusson Grossman: A Car and Some Shorts. Lippke was a founding faculty member at the School of Visual Arts’ graduate program in design criticism and has taught and thesis advised at Parsons School of Design/The New School and Yale University. She has lectured widely at such institutions as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Arkitekturmuseet Stockholm, Art in General, Berlin Projekt and the Gateway Playhouse and has had both fiction and nonfiction residencies at MacDowell in Petersborough, New Hampshire, and Maison Dora Maar in Ménerbes, France.
Lippke has been a member of the vestry at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue in New York and is currently on the Board of Advisors at Image, a journal about the intersection of art, faith and mystery. She is currently developing several narrative and nonfiction book and film projects in New York and Los Angeles.
